Mobile Sign-in

What is Mobile Sign-in?
Mobile Sign-in involves using your cell phone and texting an activity specific code to a designated phone number.

What do I need in order to sign-in?

  • A texting-capable mobile phone with a unique phone number.
  • A Continuing Education for Professionals website account.
  • Your mobile phone number registered to your Continuing Education for Professionals website account.
  • The text-in number: 833-884-3375
  • The activity text-in code provided at the activity.

How to Check In for Grand Rounds, Case Conference, and/or Live activities:

Via text message â€“ A distinct code will be provided for each Grand Rounds, Case Conference, and/or Live activities.

If this is the first time you are texting your attendance, you must first pair your mobile number to your account.  Text your email address to: (833) 884-3375 to opt-in to the text message attendance program.  You will receive a text notification indicating your phone number has been updated.  Once your account is paired to your mobile number and you have obtained the event code, send the code via text to: (833) 884-3375.

Please note, attendance can only be recorded 60 mins. prior to the activity start time, during the activity and up to 2 days after the activity.

I don’t have the code to an activity/session I attended. What should I do?
Contact the administrator for the activity; they can provide you with the code.

I do not have a texting-capable mobile phone. Can I still obtain credit?
If you do not have access to, or are unable to use, a texting-capable mobile phone, please email [email protected] for assistance.

I missed the 48 hour mobile sign-in window. What should I do?
Please email [email protected] for assistance.

I am texting the correct activity code in to the new phone number (833-884-3375) and am receiving the following error “Please check the activity code and try again or contact [email protected] for assistance.”  What do I do?
Try deleting the old text-in contact on your phone and creating a new contact with the new text-in number: 833-884-3375.


 

Login questions

What is my username?
Your user name is the email address you have associated with your account.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
To reset your password, click on the Sign in option in the top menu, and then click the Forgot Your Password button. Enter the email address associated with your account in the email field then click the Reset Password button. A reset password link will then be emailed to you.

How do I create an account?
If you have attended Dartmouth Health accredited activities in the past, including any of our Regularly Scheduled Series such as Grand Rounds, you already have an account in our system. Otherwise, please create an account. To create an account click on the Sign in option in the top menu, then click Create New Account. Fill out the form, then click Create Account.

Transcript questions

How do I access my online transcript?
To access your transcript, click the Transcript option in the top menu. If you aren't already logged in, you will be prompted to login, and then your transcript will load.

There is an event missing from my transcript
After completion of a learning activity, please allow four weeks for it to be added onto your transcript. If the event still isn't appearing, please email [email protected] with your name, event title, and event date.

How does the field "profession" determine the credit types for which I am eligible?

  • Healthcare professionals may be eligible for multiple types of credit depending on the profession specified in their CE for Professionals account.
  • The transcript displays all the types of credit you are eligible for within a given program. This means you may receive multiple types of credit for attending the same learning activity.

    Examples:
    • A nurse who attends a learning activity that is accredited for both ANCC Nursing Contact Hours and CME Credits will have both types of credit appear on their transcripts on separate pages: ANCC Nursing Contact Hours on one page and CME-Designated Participation Credit on another. Therefore, they can utilize either type of credit for re-licensing.
    • A non-nurse attending an ANCC-only accredited learning activity will see "General Attendance" credits on their transcript.
    • A non-physician attending a CME-only accredited learning activity will receive "CME-Designated Participation Credit"

My transcript now designates CME credits as "CME-Designated Participation Credits." Why?

  • The ACCME has always distinguished physicians from non-physicians in the way they count and report credits. Physicians (MD/DOs) are awarded AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and all non-physicians are designated "CME-Designated Participation Credits." These are the same types of credit that non-physician learners have always received. They are simply named differently now.

 

Registration questions

Do you accept paper or phone registrations?
At this time, registration for all of our programs is performed online, by credit card only. D-H employees should pay with a personal credit card and request reimbursement through the electronic reimbursement system (eTravel).

What is your cancellation policy?
There will be no refunds after the registration deadline. Unless specified differently on the activity overview page, a $10 administrative fee for a registration fee of under $50, and a $25 administrative fee for a registration of $50 and over, will be retained on all refunds requested before the registration deadline.
