The activity will cover the latest in tobacco control research and policy. Topics to be covered are:

• "Barriers and Facilitators to Tobacco Control in Rural America", Amy Ferketich, PhD
• "Simulation Modeling of Cigarette Smoking Interventions Among Adults w/Behavioral Health Conditions", Jamie Tam, PhD, MPH
• "Blowing Smoke: The Lost Legacy of the Surgeon General's Report", Alan Blum, MD
• "Understanding Rural Patient and Provider Preferences for Mobile Lung Cancer Screening Clinics", Rian Hasson, MD, MPH FACS

Learning Outcome(s)
At the conclusion of this learning activity, at least 75% of participants will be able to discuss at least two policy-based approaches to tobacco control along with at least two tactics to promote tobacco control in rural areas.

Registration is online and by credit card only. The registration fees are as follows:

• In-person attendees: $100 – includes continental breakfast and lunch. In-person attendance is available for Dartmouth Health, Dartmouth College, and eligible outside participants (to capacity).
• Remote attendees: $75
• Medical Students & Residents: No charge

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 1 week prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after the registration deadline has been reached.
