Overview

This conference is a unique opportunity to bring together the leading educators, researchers, healthcare providers, and rescuers who are committed to public health and safety in austere settings in our region. We believe in the power of interprofessional collaboration and creativity. Wilderness Medicine is a multidisciplinary field that brings together prehospital providers, nurses, associate providers, and physicians to care for patients in remote settings with very low resource circumstances. By bringing together leaders and learners in the field of Wilderness and Austere Medicine, we envision a conference that inspires you, educates you, and provides opportunities for networking and development of individual and organizational efforts to positively impact public health in our region.

The Mission of NECWAM is to improve public health and safety in austere settings in the Northeast region. Our goal is to provide world-class education to healthcare providers working in wilderness and austere environments.

A participant waiver is required for this course.
