Overview

This training is designed to support advanced practice providers with expertise in GI conditions in learning to treat insomnia. Participants will be instructed in core principles of insomnia treatment, based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia.

This conference is supported by the Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $1,292,000 with 50% of the event financed from non-federal sources.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the evidence supporting use of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia.
  2. Discuss key CBT-I interventions and how they address different aspects of insomnia.
  3. Use CBT-I skills in their clinical practice.

Registration

Registration is online and by credit card only. The registration fees are as follows:

  • Faculty: $50

  • Trainees: $25

The registration deadline is 5 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after that date. A $10 administrative fee for a registration fee of under $50, and a $25 administrative fee for a registration of $50 and over, will be retained on all refunds requested before the registration deadline. Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Dartmouth Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

American Medical Association (AMA)
Dartmouth Health designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
