Please welcome Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center’s Perioperative nurses as they explore and explain the steps involved in safely caring for patients through their procedure. This Nursing Grand Rounds will inform attendees of the role, responsibilities and evidence-based practice of Registered Nurses working in the Perioperative areas.

1. Describe the interdisciplinary contributions of perioperative care teams, including OSC, SDP, OR, CSR, and PACU, using the Donabedian Model to highlight their impact on patient outcomes.
2. Explain how interdisciplinary collaboration in perioperative care improves patient safety, operational efficiency, and overall surgical outcomes.
