Stroke Certification for Registered Nurses Review Course (SCRN)

The Stroke Nurse Certification review is a one-day course that will provide a comprehensive update for those nurses preparing for the American Board of Neuroscience Nurse (ABNN) stroke nurse certification exam. The program is also for those nurses interested in updating, enhancing, and increasing their knowledge base in stroke patient care settings. The increase in overall awareness of stroke care supports the hospital and the stroke program’s mission of providing excellence in healthcare.

1. Utilize increased knowledge in the care of the stroke patient in order to prepare to take the ABNN Stroke Certification RN exam.

Registration is online only. This event is limited to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center employees. There is no registration fee, but advance registration is required for planning purposes.

In support of improving patient care, Dartmouth Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Dartmouth Health designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 7.00 ANCC contact hours. 

All other learners may claim General Attendance credit. Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of General Attendance credit for programs certified for credit by organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Education.
