Overview

This Pediatric Lecture Series will discuss important pediatric topics that may lead to the improvement of child health from an individual, health care system and/or societal level.

Brian O’Sullivan, MD, Section Chief, Pediatric Pulmonary, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center

About our Presenter

Dr. O’Sullivan completed his undergraduate and medical school training at Dartmouth and moved on to Philadelphia for his residency, chief residency and fellowship at St Christopher’s. In addition to all of this training, he completed a master’s in Public Health in Medical Ethics at the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. O’Sullivan has used this degree in his work and has an extensive CV of Publications as well. He is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Geisel School of Medicine as well as the Director of the NH Cystic Fibrosis Center.


Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the impact of RSV on infants.
  2. Explain the role of RSV infection on asthma.
  3. Discuss prevention and treatment strategies for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).
