Brenda R. Lind MSN, RN, CAPA, CPAN, CNL recently returned from six months of Peace Corps service as a Nursing Instructor in Uganda, where she taught Medical-Surgical nursing alongside her Ugandan counterparts at Busitema University. While the structure of nursing education is much the same here, the practice environment is not! Adapting to a lower-resourced healthcare environment and learning about how Ugandans rise to their challenges was an amazing experience. Join us as Brenda shares her Uganda teaching experience.

1. Describe one nurse’s lived experience as part of a Peace Corps service trip in Uganda to provide Medical-Surgical nursing education in a lower-resourced healthcare environment.
