DCC Nursing Education Series: Myelodysplastic Syndromes - A Review

This activity presents an overview of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) including the definition of MDS, the incidence and prevalence of MDS, risk factors and diagnostic criteria for MDS, morphology of MDS subtypes, differential diagnoses vs. MDS, clinical presentation and classification of MDS, treatment strategies for MDS, and quality-of-life issues in patients with MDS.
