This program is designed to support attendees in their efforts to enhance their knowledge, skills, and abilities in providing evidence-based care to patients with psychiatric diagnoses in any practice setting. We will address best practices to help ensure the mental health of our patients, our colleagues, and ourselves. Throughout the day, speakers will address issues of inclusion, healthcare equity, and strategies for addressing the barriers to rapid access for psychiatric services.

Learning Outcome(s)
At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) attendees will be able to discuss at least three examples of best practice in the care of patients with psychiatric diagnoses.

Registration is online and by credit card only. The registration fees are as follows:

• Other Advanced Practice Providers: $150
• Dartmouth Health Nurses, Social Workers, and Psychologists: $50
• Other Nurses, Social Workers, and Psychologists: $75
• Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Students: $25

Advance registration is required for planning purposes. Please make every effort to register seven (7) business days in advance of the learning activity. We will not accept walk-ins or late registrants on the day of the learning activity.

If you do not attend the activity and fail to provide appropriate notice, you may receive corrective action from your supervisor.

Please note that we provide a simple light breakfast and/or lunch depending on conference times: options are limited. If you have specific dietary needs, please plan to bring your food with you to the conference.

In support of improving patient care, Dartmouth Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

All other learners may claim CME-designated participation credit. Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of CME-designated participation credit for programs certified for credit by organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Education.

Social workers must attend 80% of the entire learning activity to claim the credit. In addition, they must record their attendance by signing in and out of the learning activity at the registration desk.
