Overview

Learning Goals

  1. To review the epidemiology of opioid use disorder (OUD) and the opioid epidemic in the United States
  2. To review the pharmacological properties of fentanyl
  3. To review standard and new approaches to the pharmacological treatment of OUD, including unique considerations for people using fentanyl
  4. To discuss other considerations in the clinical management of people using fentanyl
