Overview

Do you have ideas to transform care, healthcare tools, products…something else? Join us as we learn about the recent inaugural Dartmouth Health Nursing Innovation Hackathon that was held, and how, with the use of design thinking, two nurse teams have moved their ideas to reality. All nurses can be nurse innovators! Share in the excitement that comes when nurses use innovative thinking to create the change they need to address the problems they encounter daily. This presentation will enable you to learn how to get started, the resources that are available, and how to collaborate with and gain inspiration from Dartmouth Health nursing peers who are on their own innovation journeys.

Learning Outcome
By the end of the presentation, (at least 75% of) attendees will be able to describe the concept of nursing innovation by reviewing key elements of a recent nurse-led hackathon.
