Pediatric Integrative Medicine ECHO: Changing Health Care for Children

The Pediatric Integrative Medicine ECHO will educate medical professionals on how to apply integrative modalities across all aspects of pediatric care. It is relevant for both outpatient and inpatient professionals. The program will provide a comprehensive, data driven understanding on how to bring integrative techniques into our current conventional medicine programs; more “tools in the toolbox” for medical professionals. The course will first describe key integrative approaches, then explore their use in conditions commonly seen in practice. Each session will include case presentations and discussions.

When This ECHO Meets:
Sessions will be held the first Tuesday and third Thursday of each month from 12:10-1:00 pm EST starting June 6th (once per month over summer months)

Learning Outcome:
At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss a health-based approach to patients through the use of integrative medicine, in diverse contexts of pediatric healthcare including primary care, subspecialties, inpatient and outpatient medicine.
