Overview

The chronic stress and trauma exposures that characterized the pandemic has placed frontline workers at increased risk for negative mental health and occupational outcomes. This presentation will summarize findings from the 9-wave longitudinal RAISe study (Resilience and Adaptation in Stress), which focuses on identifying problems and pathways to healing in areas of mental health, moral distress, and social healing pathways.

Learning Outcome
At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss the current state of moral distress among healthcare workers including factors that interrelate with mental health risk and ways to promote healing in the midst of moral dilemmas.
