Overview
Welcome to the Granite State Children’s Alliance’s TM Know & Tell® online training course designed for healthcare providers. This is an educational course to help healthcare providers better recognize signs that could indicate child abuse or neglect and understand how to report suspected maltreatment.

Presenters
Gwendolyn (Wendy) Gladstone, MD

Dr. Gladstone is a retired pediatrician who practiced primary care and the specialty of Child Abuse Medicine in New Hampshire; she is a charter member of the Attorney General’s Task Force on Child Abuse and neglect and now works administratively with the Child Advocacy and Protection Program at[WG3] Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth.

Resmiye Oral, MD

Dr. Oral is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College and is the current Director of the Child Advocacy and Protection Program at Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth; she is board certified in child abuse pediatrics.

Learning Outcome(s)

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to discuss best practice in the recognition, care and treatment of child abuse and neglect in health care settings.

2. Complete the following:
• Pre-Training Survey.
• All 6 modules.
• Post-Training Survey.
• Print your eCourse Certificate. *A credit/contact hour tracking sheet will be provided.

3. Dartmouth Health will award credits/contact hours for successful completion. In order receive credits/contact hours for this activity, you must:
• Participate in the entire online activity. No partial credit will be awarded.
• From the Home page of your account, under My Account, select Tests.
• Complete the test for Know & Tell.
• From the Home page of your account, under My Account, select Evaluations.
• Complete the evaluation for Know & Tell.
• Once the evaluation is submitted, your credit/contact hours will appear on your transcript.

When the evaluation is submitted, you will be awarded credit/contact hours. You may access your transcript for verification of participation at any time via your Account. Need help?
