How to End Human Trafficking One Conscious Purchase at a Time: A Seminar on Human Trafficking in NH and Beyond

Human Trafficking is an urgent social issue affecting people across the globe, in all 50 States and in all 10 Counties in New Hampshire. The number of Human Trafficking cases in NH has increased in recent years. Bryan Bessette, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Freedom Cafe, will discuss the intersection of global supply chains, human trafficking and conscious consuming. In the hospital and outside the hospital, you too, can make a conscious purchase to help end human trafficking.

1. Discuss two ways Labor Trafficking is occurring in NH and globally.
2. Describe two resources available to our patients that experience labor trafficking.

Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.00 general continuing education credits.

All other learners may claim CME-designated participation credit. Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of CME-designated participation credit for programs certified for credit by organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Education.

Receiving Credit

If you wish to apply for ASWB credit, you will need to enter your license number in your CE Profile by following these steps:

• Log in to Dartmouth Health's CE portal.
• From the My Account Menu, select Profile.
• Ensure your degree and profession are accurately reflected
• Enter the state license type, License #, and Expiration date
• Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Submit
