Overview

This session will provide an overview of a street medicine program in Maine that provides trauma-informed care for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorder (SUD). Our AIM implementation team and the NHPQC will briefly share administrative updates and relevant data from New Hampshire's implementation of the SUD-focused AIM Patient Safety Bundle. We will then hear from Alane O'Connor, DNP, Director of Perinatal Addiction Medicine at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center, who will speak to best practices and learnings from her work with patients of street medicine teams and within the U.S. Correctional system. We will end the hour with a Q&A session.
