Overview

Behavior Bridge offers a series of free, online programs designed to support children’s mental health. Developed by a team of experts that includes mental health professionals, caregivers, children, and teens, these programs provide practical skills and knowledge through short videos, handouts, and additional resources. Grounded in real-world strategies and compassionate understanding, Behavior Bridge helps participants build confidence, reduce stress, and create positive, lasting change.

Parenting Teens is a program designed to help parents and caregivers build strong relationships with their teens. This course provides simple education on teen development and behavior, tools for connection, and strategies for managing tough conversations.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe specific techniques parents and caregivers can use to support teen’s mental health.
  2. Discuss at least one new skill related to managing children’s behavior that can be used in professional practice with parents and caregivers.

Dartmouth Health designates this Enduring Material for a maximum of 0.50 ANCC contact hours.

All other learners may claim CME-designated participation credit. Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of CME-designated participation credit for programs certified for credit by organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Education.
