Annual William Nelson Lecture in Health Care Ethics - Health Care Ethics, Philosophy, and Religion: Protecting Human Vulnerability

This annual lecture will focus on ethical challenges in contemporary health care delivery and medical education.

1. Explain the importance of the Nuremberg Code and the Belmont Report in the development of contemporary health care ethics.
2. Discuss the difficulty of creating ethical frameworks at a time where there is a lack of shared agreement on fundamental principles of right and wrong.
3. Describe how the concept of vulnerability allows dialogue and insight in protecting humans in health care.

Social workers completing this course receive 1.00 general continuing education credits.

All other learners may claim CME-designated participation credit. Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of CME-designated participation credit for programs certified for credit by organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Education.

• Enter the state license type, License #, and Expiration date

• Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click Submit
