Competency Development the Wright Way

Learn how to create meaningful and engaging competencies using the Donna Wright Model. Attendees will learn how to select competencies for unit staff, and how to develop validation methods for those competencies. At the end of the workshop, learners will leave with at least one competency developed that includes a competency statement and 2-3 validation methods for that competency.

Unit leadership (managers, supervisors, CNLs, NPD Specialists/Nurses, PAC chairs) are encouraged to attend as a team.

1. Use the Donna Wright Competency Model to develop and implement specific competencies for unit staff.

This program is limited to employees of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, DH clinics, and Norris Cotton Cancer Center. Registration is online only. There is no registration fee, but advance registration is required for planning purposes.
