APP Preceptor Workshop – Advanced

This online workshop is designed to refine and advance the essential skills and techniques for experienced preceptors for successful and fulfilling precepting of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) students. By participating, you'll gain practical knowledge through real-life examples and have ample time for interactive discussions, enhancing your precepting abilities.

Target Audience

Advanced Practice Providers employed by Dartmouth Health and who have experience with APP precepting would like to be more advanced in their precepting practice.

1. Demonstrate self-assessment of readiness to offer an advanced precepting experience.
2. Describe two of the processes within DH for setting up a precepting experience, including the preceptor's necessary checks to ensure that the process has been completed.
3. Describe summative and formative strategies for effectively providing feedback to students.

This program is only open to Dartmouth Health Advanced Practice Providers. The registration fee is waived.

1. Within 48 hours of the end of the Webinar, text the Activity Code (displayed during the presentation) to 833-884-3375 (you must have a cell phone registered to your CME account.

2. Submit the evaluation found in your CME account under My Account>Evaluations.
