Overview

This two-day symposium will bring together researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and community members to explore innovative approaches to rural health challenges.

Call for Abstracts
The symposium will include oral presentations and posters on original research, health policy, or community engagement focused on the topic of rural health. Abstracts are due by Friday, March 28th at 5:00 pm (this is an extension). View additional information on the Call for Abstracts flyer.


Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify key health disparities affecting communities in rural Northern New England based on recent research findings.
  2. Summarize the principles of forming and maintaining successful partnerships with community organizations and community members in rural Northern New England.
  3. Discuss local, state, and federal policies impacting health and health outcomes of people in living in rural Northern New England.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Dartmouth Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
