Overview
If planning and teaching Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) curriculum was a walk in the park, we would all already be doing it, right? Session 5 of the IPCE Educational Series highlights the real-life case study of educators from different professions who have historically designed and delivered profession-specific education around an intervention that is interprofessional in nature. Through this interactive panel, learners will hear about the challenges around delivering IPCE from an interprofessional panel followed by an opportunity to apply their own knowledge and shared experience as healthcare professionals to further examine IPCE and bring forth potential solutions to overcome common barriers.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify at least one motivation a healthcare team member from a different profession may have for contributing to an IPCE activity.
  2. Articulate at least one new strategy to use when asking for participation in an IPCE activity from a healthcare team member from a different profession.
