Interprofessional Grand Rounds - Human Trafficking: A Focus on Pediatric Patients

Dr. Wendy Gladstone, a retired child abuse pediatrician, and Darlene Pawlik, a survivor of adolescent trafficking, will discuss the approach to the patient when trafficking is a concern. Topics covered will include red flags, screening, health care needs of patients, involvement of child protection and law enforcement, and the multidisciplinary approach to care.

1. Discuss three ways healthcare professionals can support pediatric victims of human trafficking who seek care in a clinical setting.

All other learners may claim CME-designated participation credit.
