  1. • Appreciate the current epidemiology of syphilis and the impact syphilis infection has on pregnancy and neonates
  2. • Recognize the clinical syndromes of syphilis
  3. • Review screening guidelines for syphilis infection
  4. • Understand how to interpret the test and treat syphilis in pregnancy
