Overview

Twenty years ago we began this journey of bringing together all those professionals dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of children which lead to our first Shield our Children From Harm Conference. Please join us as we celebrate the important work of these professionals who remain devoted to helping children and families whose lives have been impacted by child abuse. As we acknowledge the past 20 years, the result has been allowing us to have a positive impact on the professional development of individuals faithfully committed to protecting and serving the children in our communities.


Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss at least three evidence-based practice changes in the care and treatment of children who are at risk for abuse and neglect.

Registration is online and by credit card only. The registration fees are as follows:

  • MD, NP, PA:  $100
  • All others: $50

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 5 days prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after the registration deadline has been reached. A $10 administrative fee for a registration fee of under $50, and a $25 administrative fee for a registration of $50 and over, will be retained on all refunds requested before the registration deadline. Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Dartmouth Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

American Medical Association (AMA)
Dartmouth Health designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Dartmouth Health designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 5.75 ANCC contact hours. 

All other learners may claim CME-designated participation credit. Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of CME-designated participation credit for programs certified for credit by organizations accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Education.
