Overview

Learning Objectives

  • Define the prevalence and importance of co-occurring depression, suicidal behavior and opioid use disorder (OUD)
  • Define the assessment and management of depression and suicidality in patients with OUD
  • Discuss team-based approach to people at chronic and imminent risk of suicide
  • Discuss effective protocols/interventions to mitigate risk of suicide in patients with OUD
