The 2023 – 2024 Trauma Webinar Series – Part One: Non-Accidental Trauma

Join us as we discuss all of the various aspects of what to do when faced with a suspicion of non-accidental trauma in children. We will discuss what signs and symptoms to look for, what key factors indicate “red flags,” and what your next steps should be. We will also explain what we, as a pediatric trauma center and Child Advocacy and Protection program, do to evaluate and care for a child brought to our facility with these concerns. We hope you walk away from this presentation with a renewed confidence in advocating for children in your communities!

Learning Outcome(s)
At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss at least three key elements that must be addressed when caring for a child who may be a victim of non-accidental trauma.
