Overview

Trauma-informed care (TIC) approaches can enhance patient-centeredness and reduce negative experiences. This session will discuss how it is important for healthcare professionals to be aware of the effects of trauma has on our patients and how implementing a trauma-informed care approach to pelvic exams can improve patient outcomes.
