Overview

The Future of Nursing 2020-2030 Report charges nursing with charting a path for health equity. In Northern New England, rurality challenges equitable access to resources that achieve optimal health. Ambulatory nurses can play an important role in filling the rural health equity gap by knowing and connecting disadvantaged populations to the available resources. Join us for a highly interactive day with local experts and activate your new knowledge into actionable plans.

Learning Outcome(s)
At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to tailor care to meet the specific health and social needs of diverse patients to optimize their wellness.

Registration is online and by credit card only. The registration fees are as follows.

  • Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics employees $20
  • Member Organizations and NEAH: $30
  • External: $50
  • Medical Assistant Apprentices and Nursing Students are $10

Advance registration is required for planning purposes. Please make every effort to register seven (7) business days in advance of the learning activity. We will not accept walk-ins or late registrants on the day of the learning activity.
