Overview

There is a need for faculty to better understand suggested practice in providing overall assessments and evaluations of medical students, and there is a gap in awareness of updates related to best practice and new teaching innovations for faculty who are responsible for teaching medical students at the point of care and in the classroom setting. Participants will be able to describe a minimum of three key components of medical student education including bedside teaching innovations, didactic teaching innovations and facilitating small group learning while addressing bias.

Learning Outcome
At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to describe a minimum of three key components of medical student education including bedside teaching innovations, didactic teaching innovations and facilitating small group learning while addressing bias.
