The Dartmouth Health Nursing Innovation HACK-A-THON is an opportunity to bring your solutions to the problems you see every day and make them a reality. Nurses are innovators, change-makers, problem solvers, engineers, and more! This one-and-a-half-day opportunity will allow you to generate innovation within a team and to pitch your solution for an opportunity to receive an ongoing mentorship to make that idea a reality. Learn from experts in Nursing Innovation, receive 1:1 coaching to improve your pitch, meet nurses in all spaces and places who are excited to show what can happen when nurses are given the tools to make vast changes to our healthcare system.

Learning Outcome(s)
At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to describe an interactive process that offers teams of collaborative nurse attendees the opportunity to engage in the creation of innovative solutions to problems related to healthcare.

The registration fee is waived. This educational activity is limited to nurses employed at Dartmouth Health.  

Advance registration is required for planning purposes. Please make every effort to register seven (7) business days in advance of the learning activity. We will not accept walk-ins or late registrants on the day of the learning activity.

Attention Dartmouth-Hitchcock employees: By registering to attend this training, you agree to attend, and D-H is allocating resources for your attendance and participation. If you are not able to attend, as soon as possible, you must provide the appropriate notification, ideally more than a 24-hour notice in advance (unless your supervisor verifies in writing (email) that emergent circumstances prevented your attendance). If you do not attend the training and fail to provide appropriate notice, you may receive corrective action from your supervisor.

Please note that we provide a simple light breakfast and/or lunch depending on conference times: options are limited. If you have specific dietary needs, please plan to bring your food with you to the conference.

Dartmouth Health Nursing Continuing Education Council is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

This educational activity carries 11.50 contact hours.
