Overview

The first Dartmouth International Vaccine Conference will cover important advances in research, development and policy regarding global health vaccines including RSV, Covid, herpes, polio and HIV. Dartmouth contributions will be highlighted. Speakers will include leading national and international experts from academia, foundations, industry, and government. The theme of "turning vaccines into vaccinations" will also consider critical issues in vaccine acceptance and vaccine access.

Learning Objective(s)
At the conclusion of this learning activity, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify research and development opportunities and challenges for global health vaccines;
  • Discuss challenges and tactics to improve access and acceptance of new vaccines;
  • Describe the scientific process of developing and approving new vaccines.
