Overview

The 19th annual Shield Our Children from Harm Professional Conference will be a hybrid, virtually interactive webinar. It is a joint effort between the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, the Child Advocacy Center of Grafton and Sullivan Counties at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and The Family Place Child Advocacy Centers of Windsor County.

In collaboration with this conference, Medical Fundamentals of Child Abuse and Neglect will be taking place April 5th at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. There is a separate registration process to participate in that conference. For more information, please visit the event website.

Learning Outcome(s)
At the conclusion of this activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss at least three evidence based practice changes in the care and treatment of children who are at risk for abuse and neglect.


Registration

Registration is online and by credit card only. The registration fees are as follows:

In Person:

  • Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistant: $100
  • Others: $50

Virtual:

  • Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistant: $50
  • Others: $35

Preregistration and payment required. The registration deadline is 1 week prior to the activity date. There will be no refunds after the registration deadline has been reached. A $10 administrative fee for a registration fee of under $50, and a $25 administrative fee for a registration of $50 and over, will be retained on all refunds requested before the registration deadline. Accreditation

Dartmouth Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Dartmouth Health designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Dartmouth Health Nursing Continuing Education Council is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
